Moving Yourself is an excellent and cost effective choice for transporting your items from one location to another. We understand that sometimes, your destination is not quite ready, and you might need to place some items into storage. Our moving service company will happily help you arrange this.

As your moving truck service provider, we can transport your items to a storage area, but we are unable to store your items on the truck itself for an extended period of time. We do, however, provide ample time for loading and unloading, when needed.

Do you provide storage if I am not ready for my household goods. I need approximately 6 months or more. How much is it if you do pprovide storage options?

We have some short-term storage options (1 to 3 months), but we do not provide long term storage. We also highly discourage you from leaving your goods on a truck for an extended period of time due to potential damage from heat or cold. Your best option (and cheapest) would be to deliver to a self-service storage facility at youur destination. MovingYourself.com

Can you drop off the trailer so we can pack it over time, a couple of weeks, if we plan on using the whole trailer?

We can drop the moving trucks off for up to 3 business days for loading and 3 business days for unloading. That is the maximum time available. We can delay the delivery of your shipment by up to one week for storage at no additional charge (this is only available with some of our service offerings, please ask your representative for details). We are moving from Ellsworht, ME to Salem, OR and need storage in between for 3-4 months. Moving mid October 2007. Do you go to these states and what is the cost? We have a one (1) bdrm apt.

Robert, The good news is that we provide moving truck service to both points that you have listed. The bad news is that storage on that moving truck is not an option. You would need to either store it at origin or at destination. We can pickup and deliver from storage facilities. we plan on moving from Santa Ana, Ca. to Henderson, Nv.. we are selling our home in S.A. and need to store our stuff untill we buy in Henderson. a mounth or two. do you store and then deliver t5o new add.

Edward, MovingYourself.com provides door-to-door service on moving trucks. Unfortunately, storage does not work in our system. If you need storage, it is better to put your goods in a climate controlled facility than to leave it on a truck for an extended period of time. Can we load our stuff on a truck,but not have it delivered for 2 weeks? We are wanting to visit family in Spokane, Wa before we move to the east coast. Please let me know your policy on this. Heather, We can work with you some on your delivery. But, we do not provide storage services on the moving trucks. You don't want your entire life riding around in a truck for an extended two week period, nor do you want the moving van sitting in a parking lot somewhere unattended. Can a pod be used for storage - say for a month or two between moves between times when must move out and available time for move in?
